Welcome to Serenity Sound Therapies, the website of Mandy Atkins – Sound Healer, Soul Midwife, and Private Holistic Carer based in Northamptonshire.

By using this website or booking any service through it, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all therapy, care, and support services offered by Mandy Atkins. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or engage in services.

1. Scope of Services

Mandy offers the following services:

  • Sound Healing (Sound Baths, Reiki Drum Therapy, Tuning Forks)

  • Reiki and energy healing

  • Meditation and relaxation sessions

  • Soul Midwifery (emotional, spiritual and practical end-of-life support)

  • Private Holistic Care (non-medical, person-centred companionship and support)

These services are complementary and supportive in nature. They are not a substitute for medical, nursing, or psychological care.

2. Health and Suitability

  • Clients are responsible for their own health and wellbeing and must inform Mandy of any relevant health conditions.

  • Services are not suitable for every individual or situation. Mandy reserves the right to decline or discontinue sessions if she believes a service is inappropriate or unsafe.

  • If a client is under medical supervision or has a diagnosed mental health condition, they are encouraged to consult with their healthcare provider before attending sessions.

3. Soul Midwifery and Private Care Work

  • Soul midwifery is non-medical support that complements existing medical care. It includes emotional, spiritual, and practical companionship for those at or approaching end of life.

  • Private care work provided by Mandy is strictly non-medical. It may include companionship, emotional support, light assistance, and holistic comfort measures, but does not replace professional care from nurses, carers, or healthcare professionals.

  • Any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously and, where necessary, referred to appropriate authorities or professionals in accordance with legal obligations.

4. Bookings, Cancellations, and Payments

  • Services are offered by appointment only. Bookings can be made via email, phone, or the website contact form.

  • Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • Mandy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • All client information is treated in strict confidence.

  • Mandy complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. See the [Privacy Policy] for full details.

  • Records are kept securely for legal and insurance purposes and will not be shared without your consent, unless required by law or safeguarding concerns.

6. Client Conduct and Boundaries

  • Clients must be respectful and appropriate in all communications and sessions.

  • Mandy maintains clear professional boundaries at all times. Any inappropriate behaviour or requests will result in immediate termination of services.

  • If a session needs to be ended early due to inappropriate conduct, no refund will be issued.

7. Website Use

  • All content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

  • Mandy retains ownership of all text, images, and media on the website unless otherwise stated. Content may not be reused without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Mandy is fully insured to offer her services and will always act with care and professionalism.

  • However, no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes. By using her services, clients accept full responsibility for their own wellbeing.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mandy accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the use of her services or this website.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
